Included in Hoot’s tour dates is an opening slot for Alabama, which takes place on June 11 in Estero, Florida.

“I grew up listening to [Alabama],  so getting to open for them is a dream come true!” Hoot said of the show.

Hoot released his debut  Love Out of Time EP, earlier this year. The five-track record includes his current single, “I Would’ve Loved You,” a duet with Kelly Clarkson, but he hints there will be another guest artist — new wife, Brittney.– on his next set of tunes.

“We played a show at Ole Red in Tishomingo and two in Texas and at every show people were requesting Brittney to get up and sing,” Hoot previously told Country Now.. “And I said, ‘Honey, I don’t know that you are ready for all of this.’ So the last two shows I made her get up and sing songs with me … She is such a powerhouse that she is definitely gonna be part of the album.”

Whenever Hoot does release his next project, it won’t be the first time fans have heard Brittney, who is currently working as a nurse, sing with him.

“I wrote a song and released it last year called ‘Nadine,’ and Brittney sang background on that one,” Hoot said.

Hoot will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, June 8, as part of an all-star lineup that includes Carrie Underwood, Lauren Alaina, Jeannie Seely and more. He also has a show with Darius Rucker in July. Love Out of Time is available for purchase here.
