Watch Rachel Wammack Perform ‘A Million Dreams’ For Discovery+

Rachel Wammack was chosen as the singer for “A Million Dreams,” the promotional anthem for the new streaming platform, Discovery+, and now she is sharing a video of her performance of the song. Wammack posted the video on social media, of her belting out the song, which is from The Greatest Showman.

“Putting my own spin on [‘A Million Dreams’] for the [Discovery+] launch was an absolute dream itself,” Wammack tweeted of her performance. “I hope y’all love the performance video as much as I loved making it!”

Wammack previously spoke to Everything Nash about how she was chosen to sing the powerful song.

“I was pitched and they picked me,” Wammack said. “I’m literally freaking out because this is my first moment being on a commercial, or having my voice featured on a commercial. And also we have the rights for me to release this song completely on my own too, the full version. The commercial, I don’t know how long that will be, but it’s not the full song. It’s amazing. One of my favorite musical movies is The Greatest Showman. I love Hugh Jackman so, so much.

“I’m stoked for this song to be out,” Rachel added. “I’m obviously a lover of big ballads, so I was like, ‘Listen, this is a no brainer.’ I’m excited for people to hear it. I hope that it will bring some positivity and encouragement during this time to people who maybe are feeling down about their dreams.”

Wammack also released her own single, “What He Does,” inspired by her now-husband, Noah Purcell.

“I wrote ‘What He Does’ two years ago, and it was right before Noah proposed,” Rachel told Everything Nash. “It was in this time when we were getting really serious, but we weren’t engaged. It was this moment where I just knew, and I never had that before. I didn’t know that that was a real thing of, when you know, when, you know. You know. I just knew, and I was like, ‘How do I know this? Because he is different.’ I just felt like he was set apart for me.”
