Reba McEntire Drops ‘Till You Love Me (Acoustic Version)’ From ‘Not That Fancy’

Reba McEntire has a new version of one of her early hits, out now. The Country Music Hall of Fame member just dropped “Till You Love Me (Acoustic Version),” from her Not That Fancy album, out on October 6. The record is available for pre-order now.

“Till You Love Me” was released in 1994. Written by hit songwriter Gary Burr and Bob DiPiero, the song was the third single from McEntire’s Read My Mind album, which also included “The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter,” “Why Haven’t I Heard From You,” “And Still” and “She Thinks His Name Was John,” among others.

McEntire went into the studio with Dave Cobb to re-record some of her biggest hits, including “If You See Him, If You See Her” with Brooks & Dunn, “Does He Love You” with Dolly Parton, “Fancy” and more, for her Not That Fancy album.

“It’s songs that I went into the studio with Dave Cobb and re-recorded,” McEntire on the Today Show. “And then we’ve got four new songs, songs that we did later, like ‘Georgia,’ the duet with Ronnie and Kix, Brooks & Dunn. It’s great music along with a fun book.”

In addition to the Not That Fancy album, McEntire is also releasing Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots, out on October 10. The book has recipes, lifestyle tips, personal anecdotes and more.

“The book is a fun book,” McEntire said. “Sometimes you have books, autobiographies, that are really diving into stuff. This is just a fun book. You can look through it. You can read it front to back. It’s got recipes, stories, new pictures people haven’t seen before. Talking about my family, my faith, my friends. And then recipes that are from the restaurant in Otoka, Oklahoma, called ‘Reba’s Place.’”

The Oklahoma native will also return to television this fall. McEntire will serve as a coach on The Voice for both this season and next season, taking the place left vacant by Blake Shelton.

“The country lane — I’m taking over for Blake so I’m gonna represent country music,” McEntire told People when the news was announced. “[He’s got] big boots. I don’t know what size those boots are, but they’re big, so I’m gonna really work hard to make him proud.”
