Todd Tilghman Teases Collaboration With Jake Hoot, The Swon Brothers

A dream collaboration with alumni from The Voice could soon be happening. Season 18 winner Todd Tilghman posted a photo of him with Season 17 winner, Jake Hoot, and Season 4 finalists The Swon Brothers, hinting that the four talented singers were working on something together.

“Y’all might not know about the BBFF (Bearded Best Friends Forever) Club, but you will,” Tilghman captioned the picture. “And I know you think those are muscles, but we have something else up our sleeves…”

Tilghman previously shared a clip on social media of The Swon Brothers joining him for a cover of  Collin Raye‘s “Little Rock.” At the time, The Swon Brothers, made up of brothers Zach and Colton Swon, commented, “I see  some shows together real soon!!! Maybe a collab.”

All three of the acts have been busy making music since their time on The Voice. Hoot recently released a sweet new love song, “Endless,” while The Swon Brothers just dropped “Lookin’ for Love,” from Urban Cowboy. The song is from a forthcoming new record, Covers Vol. 1, out later this year.

Tilghman recently released the popular worship song, “Goodness of God.” The song, which followed “Dig My Grave,” is a deeply personal song to not only Tilghman, but to his wife Brooke and their eight children as well.

“‘Goodness of God’ is probably one of the most meaningful worship songs to me and my family, period,” Tilghman tells Everything Nash. “From the first time I ever even heard it, I kind of play a movie in my head of all the times God has come through. In my own heart and mind, and in my marriage and family… He’s come to my rescue so many times. I do the song live all the time, and it just seems to be received really well.

“The decision to officially release it came from the amazing response we received from a video of a time I sang it live,” he continues. “I just really hope it can remind people how good He’s been, and how faithful. Especially if they’re in a dark period. I hope it reminds them that He’s always come through, and He will again.”
